Generating video with Seedance 2.0 on Venice

Seedance 2.0 on Venice and text-to-video
Seedance 2.0 is now available on Venice and can be used anonymously through the Venice interface. The simplest mode is text-to-video: you enter a prompt, select a duration, and send it off.
The physics and detail are the standout here. A prompt for a triple espresso produced visible steam rising off the cup and a level of surface detail that showed a sip had already been taken. The model handles motion and physical realism well across shots, so prompts that lean on motion (steam, water ripples, movement) tend to show off its strengths.
Blog resources, native audio, and physics
Venice published a blog post on Seedance 2.0 with tips for getting the most out of it. It covers how to use the model's native audio generation, how to take advantage of its physics and motion, and includes quick-start templates you can copy.

The prompting formula and multi-shot sequences
The most effective prompts include five elements: subject, action, camera, style, and constraints. As with other current video models, camera language matters. Describing camera movement (speeding up, climbing, following a tower) produced a convincing drone-style shot. Audio keywords let you specify the effects you want to hear, and you can experiment with intensity.
Seedance 2.0 also supports multi-shot sequences that keep a character consistent across cuts. One prompt carried a character from looking out a bus window, to exiting the bus, to seeing her childhood home and running, all while she stayed recognizable shot to shot.
Image-to-video: building and animating a start frame
Image-to-video needs a start frame. Generate one first with a pure image model. In the demo, Nano Banana 2 produced a dancer in a flowing white dress, set to 16:9 with two variants, and the preferred result became the reference frame.
From that image, choose "create video," paste your prompt, and select Seedance 2.0 image to video. The prompt was a multi-shot sequence: a wide shot, then a close-up, then a medium shot. The output followed the sequence cleanly through a wide shot, close-up, medium shot with tracking, and a fade out, holding the ballerina's look throughout.
Reference-to-video and prompt enhancement
Reference-to-video lets you combine multiple attached images into one scene. Attach your images, then refer to them by tag in the prompt. The example used a woman as reference image 1 and a sci-fi chamber as reference image 2:

The enhancement button rewrites a hand-written prompt with richer description, which is recommended, but it can strip your reference tags. After enhancing, re-add the tags (for example, tagging element 1 and element 2 to the right images) so the model still knows which reference is which. This is the full-quality mode, not the fast one. The 15-second reference-to-video generation in the demo cost 332 credits with two reference images attached.
Working around the content filter
Sometimes the generation is blocked because the provider's copyright detection thinks you are using a copyrighted image. In the demo, swapping the main character's reference image for a different one (a ballerina) got the generation through.
This content filter comes from ByteDance, the provider of Seedance, not from Venice. Hitting it does not mean you did anything wrong; it is simply the model provider's restriction. Once past it, the result kept the woman in the same chamber from the reference image and delivered an action-style sequence.
Why anonymization matters
All of your generations on Venice are anonymized. As long as you do not include personal data in your prompts, the model provider has no way to know the request came from you. This applies across the video models on Venice that are not already completely private.
